================= K H A N F U S I O N - B A N D'S  M E M B E R ============== RONALD FORD   Ronald Ford considered by many as the master of simplicity and leads the band with his hard hitting funk groove drive. I taught myself how to play the drums at the age of 14, beginning my musical career in 1965. I played in local bands in the 60's and was one of the co-founders of the funk group entitled "Lead Head".  From 1969-1974, Lead Head traveled up the east coast from D.C. to Canada and was the opening act for nationally known artists such as Funkadelic, Rare Earth, and Kool and the Gang.   After Lead Head, I toured around throughout the years and played back-up for both local and national artists such as The Orioles, The Winstons, Eddie Holman, Rufus Thomas, and Carla Thomas.  I also played in opening acts for Al Green, Chaka Khan, Dennis Edwards, The Delphonics, The Stylistics, and Earth, Wind, and Fire.  Close this window Copyright © 1999 Innerface Sounds.
